No. 8 Details

Famous for its historical affairs, crimes of passion, and celebrated scandal, No. 8's namesake – the renowned bungalow of the Beverly Hills Hotel – lends a reputation of mystery and intrigue. Aptly deemed the "No-Tell Motel" for its discretion, No. 8 caters to an international group of faithful habitués who value their privacy.

No. 8 is a bi-level restaurant and lounge located in the heart of New York City’s thriving Chelsea art district. No.8 stands alone as a unique experience in the context of New York nightlife and culinary enjoyment created by Amy Sacco and brought to life by Bobby Rossi and LDV Hospitality.

The Ballroom is the main floor area at No.8 which is comprised of 5 large banquet tables, a communal lounge area and a private elevated tasting booth; all leading to a beautiful U shaped bar. The interior vibe of the this room is Miss Habersham’s rundown mansion meets disco glam with a little splash of Cuba. The ceiling don’s a custom art instillation with a huge revolving chandelier hanging down setting the mood below.

In addition to nightly programming, the Ballroom plays host to Cafe hours (6pm-11pm) providing a groomed early evening setting for post work cocktails, light dinner meetings or a jump on the evenings carousing.

Upstairs you will find the REC Room, a private vinyl lounge on the 2nd floor of the venue. The space is lined with over 8,000 hand selected albums that compile the soundtrack of the REC Room and boasts a Funktion One sounds system and seperate DJ booth. Made up of a 5 table communal couch, 3 raised banquettes and a private lounge area this space creates an experience all to it’s own.
