With new introductions in the coming seasons, Bond No. 9 infuses the island of Manhattan with scents.

Abercrombie & Fitch - South Street Seaport

Financial District

This legendary American store is a haven for teens who love to wear their labels. Once found only in the malls of the country, A&F only recently opened their first outpost in Manhattan, and it has caused a sensation. The one-time purveyor of hunting goods now specializes in logo tees, sweatpants, jeans of every sort, and half-naked male model store assistants. Expect to wait in line outside the store before gaining entry, something rarely seen on the high fashion row that is 5th Avenue.

Goose Barnacle

Giggle — Upper East Side

Upper East Side

Giggle isn't just a baby store: it's a new parent store. When stocking a nursery, there's a lot to take into account, and the choices can be overwhelming. Giggle's goal is to make your job a whole lot easier — not by offering everything out there, but by offering the best of everything out there. In other words, they've done the homework for you. Their collection includes all your must-have baby items, pre-sorted to include only the most healthy, stylish and innovative products available — from fun, bright bedding and furniture to gear, toys, baby care, cleaning products, and more.

Abercrombie & Fitch - Fifth Ave

John Varvatos - Bowery

East Village

In the former CBGB club space you'll find a fashion temple to punk and good ol' rock-and-roll, with clothes, accessories, records and stuff that evoke uniquely American style from the past decades. Varvatos pays tribute to the music heritage of the legendary CBGB, which dovetails nicely with his personal passion for rock & roll that is often expressed in his acclaimed menswear collections. As with every Varvatos-curated space, furnishings and fixtures are largely found objects and vintage pieces that exhibit a distinct character and the patina of authenticity. A 25-foot mahogany bar reclaimed from its former life in a pub on 14th Street (and prior to that in a Bowery bar) sits in front of four antique stained glass windows. Vintage rolling racks hold the clothing collections, augmented by a carefully sourced selection of vintage denim, leather jackets, rock t-shirts, accessories, and boots. In addition, John has scoured the globe to create a special offering including relevant music memorabilia, his own collections of rare vinyl and picture discs, books and 1970’s audio equipment.

Pas de Deux

East Village

This 500-square-foot boutique is filled with clothing, shoes, accessories, and fragrances lining both sides of the long, narrow space. But Odin’s sister store has a decidedly and appropriately lighter, more feminine vibe. The checkerboard-tiled floor, blue-gray wallpaper, antique-inspired furniture, and chandeliers are modeled after a Parisian boutique. But the shop's real draw is its drool-worthy lineup of designers, offering apparel from bold names like 3.1 phillip lim, Alexander Wang, Karen Walker, Diana Orving, Vena Cava, and Coventry and Clu, with accessories by Philip Crangi, Scosha, Comme des Garçons, Boyy, Repetto, and Loeffler Randall.

Y-3 - SoHo

SoHo

Adidas's boutique mixture of their established style and that of avant-garde designer Yohji Yamamoto culminates in unified looks and surprisingly fresh fashion.

Valley salon on the Lower East Side is the coolest place to get your nails done in all of NYC. People from all over the world know this salon because they specialize in incredible airbrush designs for your nails and this “nail art” only costs about $4 per nail (or $8 if you want a 3-D design!) They also offer a very well done waxing service, as well as facials, facial massages (to relieve stress in an often ignored area) and herbal acne treatments.
